Job Description

Twilio is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their EMEA Communications team. This role is pivotal in enabling customers to realize the future of communications. The Solutions Engineer will lead technical pre-sales engagements, ensuring customer success with Twilio's APIs and solutions.

In this role, the Solutions Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities.
  • Leading the technical and product sale, recommending best-practice solutions.
  • Understanding customer technical challenges and designing innovative solutions.
  • Building and presenting interactive product demonstrations.
  • Taking initiative to solve problems and mentor less experienced engineers.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 8+ years of pre-sales experience or 10+ years of experience supporting technical products with customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and guide them to a technical solution.
  • Previous software development experience or working knowledge in backend/web development.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Customer Engagement.
  • A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
