Job Description

Make, a leading visual platform for automation, is seeking a Technical Training Specialist. The role involves planning, designing, and developing engaging learning experiences focused on mastering Make, automation, and AI-driven workflows. The company's headquarters are in Prague, Czech Republic, and its teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.

The Technical Training Specialist will work with a diverse audience, ranging from business professionals to automation specialists, and must tailor content to accommodate varying skill levels. He/she will craft clear and compelling explanations, focusing on the 'why' behind each topic, and use analogies to simplify complex concepts. The content should be easily understandable, by non-native English speakers.

While the specialist is not responsible for developing final course assets, they will design, plan, structure, and storyboard the learning content. He/she will collaborate with SMEs to define necessary topics and practical applications.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Defining learning objectives and outcomes for training courses.
  • Working with SMEs to define necessary topics and practical applications.
  • Designing learning content for diverse audiences.
  • Developing structured storyboards for content developers.
  • Applying adult learning methodologies to create effective learning experiences.
  • Documenting common practices, processes, and guidelines as needed.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or technical training.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, programming and AI concepts.
  • Fluency in English with strong writing skills.
  • Experience in storyboarding and providing clear instructions to developers.
  • Proficiency in learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360).
