Xendit is looking for an Internal Auditor to take ownership of developing and executing Audit Plans across local entities and business units. The Internal Auditor will review findings and propose actionable improvements to strengthen internal controls. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Fraud, Compliance, and IT, and regular presentation of updates and insights to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors. This is what the role involves:
- Developing and executing the Annual Audit Plan for all entities of Xendit Philippines.
- Scheduling and assigning audit projects in accordance with the approved audit plan.
- Reviewing and analyzing audit findings and proposing action plans for stronger internal controls.
- Leading special audits in areas of risk or suspected fraudulent activity, as necessary.
- Presenting regular updates to the company Audit Committee and/or board of directors.
- Working cross-functionally with the Finance & Accounting, Operations, Fraud & Risk, Compliance, and IT teams.
Requirements for this role include:
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Services and Fintech Audit.
- Expertise in Internal Audit Procedures, Risk Management, and Fraud Prevention.
- Strong plus if coming from an Internal Audit role or Consulting Audit role with direct experience in Fintech, Banking, or Payments.
- BS Accounting degree from a reputable school.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
