Xendit is seeking a Risk Policy and ERM Manager to lead the development of risk policies and establish a robust Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process. The role involves working with a diverse range of business lines and entities across Southeast Asia, covering online and offline payments, lending, e-wallets, and banking as a service. The role requires you to have strong risk governance and understanding inherent risks.

The Risk Policy and ERM Manager will draft risk policies and develop procedures, coordinate with country offices, set up risk registers, run Risk Committee meetings, and track risk metrics. This high-visibility role requires collaboration with multiple teams, serving as a risk point-of-contact for senior leaders and acting as a primary contact for Sales and Growth teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Risk Policy & Enterprise Risk Management at Xendit.
  • Identify the required policies and develop them along with relevant partner teams.
  • Develop Procedures related to Policies and train various stakeholders.
  • Design and implement ERM framework and methods.
  • Develop risk registers for important functions and business lines.
  • Manage complexity by developing regional policies that can be applied across as much as possible.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholder to get buy-in, engage with country, product and sales teams to equip them with required policies and documentation for external requirements.
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management or risk advisory for financial services, payments or technology companies.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience of writing policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Risk Management and a strong understanding of the three lines of defence model.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in being a trusted risk advisor to multiple business units.
  • Understanding of financial services regulations in South-East Asia.
