Interactive Brokers is seeking a Technical Support Associate to join their team in Tallinn, Estonia. The candidate will focus on ensuring a solid user experience through responsive support of the company's trading software. The role involves assisting clients with inquiries, serving as a liaison between internal teams and clients, and ensuring prompt and effective resolution of bugs and issues.Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and functional support for the Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation, including connectivity, network testing, Java configuration, and security protocols via phone, chat, and tickets.
- Manage problem resolution, with a focus on wide-scale technical issues.
- Liaise between internal teams and clients to ensure prompt and effective resolution of bugs and issues.
- Manage escalations of technical issues to the development team.
- Address client inquiries regarding Interactive Brokers’ two-factor secure login system.
- Two years of experience in Windows/Mac software and hardware support, connectivity and networking support, Java familiarity, and experience managing a team is an advantage.
- Self-confident, open, extroverted, and possess good communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish or German is a must. Any other European languages are an advantage.
