Global Sourcing Manager

Job Description

Verkada is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to own the direct sourcing strategy and execution for a product line. The Global Sourcing team is responsible for all direct procurement associated with Verkada's Hardware. This role involves negotiating contracts and costs, finding, qualifying, and managing suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end hardware sourcing responsibilities for Verkada Product Line(s) during NPI and MP phases
• Develop and execute sourcing roadmap and strategy.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, etc. for various aspects of operation including cost management and margin analysis.
• Find and manage suppliers including relationship management, audits, and onboarding
• Collaborate with and influence cross functional teams to deliver new products

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain or commodity management
• 3+ years working with international supply chains in multiple time zones and countries.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing, supply chain, or commodity management (Preferred)
• 5+ years working with international supply chains in multiple time zones and countries (Preferred)
