Point72 is seeking an EMEA L/S Equities Business Analyst to develop and implement solutions for the firm's L/S business in EMEA. The candidate will collaborate across the Equities business and support the EMEA Equities Management team in implementing the regional business strategy.
The Role Involves:
Supporting the EMEA L/S Equities Management team for operational matters.
Preparing for PM and Analyst meetings.
Managing Investment Professional onboarding and system access.
Preparing weekly reports and materials for Governance meetings.
Maintaining business update packs for senior stakeholders.
Tracking Portfolio Manager buying power and managing the local Capital planning process.
Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, HR, and Finance on contracts and mobility.
Coordinating inter-departmental initiatives with BD, Professional Development, and Trading.
Working on automation projects for efficiency in reporting.
Providing ad-hoc team support.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.
Keen interest in Equity Long/Short investing or Asset Management.
3-5 years of experience in consultancy or financial services, ideally in investment management or hedge funds.
Experience in driving change through automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop strong partnerships with stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial drive to promote innovation.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
