RightShip is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to their mission of enhancing maritime safety and sustainability. This role involves developing and maintaining data-driven products, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving quality across critical data sets. Responsibilities:
- Writing efficient code on both server and client sides.
- Participating in requirements analysis.
- Making key decisions for successful initiative implementation.
- Coaching and mentoring peers.
- Collaborating on large developments.
- Revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code.
- Monitoring system activities and providing support.
- Testing outputs for quality.
- Staying updated with coding and technological advancements.
- Working with QA, Tech Design, Data Engineers and Architects to deliver scalable solutions
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with C# experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C#, SQL, and Typescript.
- Experience with frameworks like Angular/Aurelia/React.
- Experience in the Azure Stack and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience using No-SQL Databases
- Experienced with concurrency and asynchronous programming
- In-depth knowledge of Micro Services Architecture.
- Adept at working with cross-functional groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
