Remote is seeking a Time & Attendance Specialist to manage Time & Attendance activities for its external employees and clients. The position emphasizes legal compliance and delivering a great employee experience. The Time & Attendance Specialist will report to the Time & Attendance Manager.
  • Contributing to developing and maintaining Time & Attendance standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Providing subject matter expertise for internal and external queries.
  • Collaborating with clients and employees to address inquiries.
  • Gathering feedback and insights to enhance the employee journey.
  • Managing employee data, ensuring it is current, secure, and confidential.
  • Supporting reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Promoting Remote's values internally and externally.
Requirements:
  • Solid operational experience in HR across multiple roles.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations related to time tracking and leave management.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices in Time & Attendance management.
  • Experience in implementing time off and attendance policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with employees, clients, and internal teams.
  • Strong English writing and verbal communication abilities; proficiency in another language is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, especially in a remote setting.
