Altos Labs is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join the Muñoz-Cánoves lab at the San Diego Institute of Science. This role focuses on unraveling the biology of aging in tissue communication and rejuvenation, translating findings into new treatments. The scientist will work on understanding the molecular, cellular, and metabolic mechanisms associated with cellular reprogramming and tissue aging, particularly in skeletal muscle.Responsibilities include developing experimental strategies, conducting research projects in collaboration with senior scientists, contributing to publications, and shaping preclinical programs.
- Develop project-specific experimental strategies.
- Carry out research projects.

Requirements include:
- Ph.D. with a record of professional achievement.
- Extensive experience in in vivo mouse work.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in protein Biochemistry and metabolic studies.
- Hands-on experience in cellular reprogramming.
- Excellent computer and data mining skills.
