Rocket Lab is seeking a Quality Manager to be based on-site at their Auckland, NZ facility. The Quality Manager will be a leader with a keen eye for detail and a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement who can inspire a team to exceed expectations. They will have a passion for aerospace and a proven track record of maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced environment.Role involves:
  • Leading Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Overseeing supplier quality management
  • Leading Material Review Board (MRB) processes
  • Managing quality improvement initiatives
  • KPI Reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
  • 3+ years of proven leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, AS9100, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement company-wide initiatives effectively
