Job Description
Airtable is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to expand its Strategic Sourcing function. The Senior Sourcing Manager will be a key negotiator and team leader, responsible for executing sourcing strategies and negotiating deals across indirect technology categories, marketing, professional services, benefits, and event categories. The goal is to minimize risk while maximizing value. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Head of Procurement.

Role involves:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to drive deal negotiations.
  • Developing category management strategies and negotiation plans.
  • Leading cost-saving initiatives.
  • Converting routine renewals into strategic opportunities.
  • Providing negotiation expertise to internal teams.
  • Building strong relationships with internal customers.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contract terms.
  • Collaborating with internal partners and managing supplier relationships.
  • Achieving targets for annual savings and business engagement.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Skilled in navigating ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to create executive-level summaries and presentations.
  • Track record of identifying cost reduction opportunities and delivering savings.
  • Capability in redlining supplier contracts to reduce risk.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with intake & contract management systems, ERP tools and e-signature tools.
