Medical Writer / Scientific Manager at Ashfield MedComms

A company in Mannheim, Germany is searching for a Medical Writer/Scientific Manager to join their team. This role involves contributing to the development of medical and scientific content for projects, ranging from peer-reviewed literature to medical and scientific training events. The candidate will conduct high-quality scientific analyses, produce written works, create presentations, and deliver strategic consulting services that meet client goals and deadlines. They will also support the implementation of projects across various medical indications, including oncology, hematology, diabetes, cardiovascular health, and rare diseases, in both German and English for national and international clients, and serve as a competent and reliable partner for medical communication and a consultant for pharmaceutical industry clients.

Requirements:
• University degree in medicine, pharmacy, biology, or other biosciences
• Research experience at the doctoral level (advantageous)
• Experience in medical communication, editing, publishing, or the pharmaceutical industry (advantageous)
• Ability to work independently in dynamic teams
• Experience in writing and/or editing scientific texts (advantageous)
• Proficiency in standard software (Word, PowerPoint, EndNote)
• Native-level German skills and very good English skills (written and spoken)
