NewGlobe is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join one of its Lagos-based software development teams. The engineer will contribute to building software that powers the company's educational offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, a history of delivering high-quality products, and an appreciation for clean code.Role involves:
- Designing, implementing, and supporting new products and features.
- Ensuring software is built with quality, maintainability, and scalability in mind.
- Collaborating with project sponsors to elaborate requirements.
- Working with product and development teams to establish technical direction.
- 3+ years of enterprise software development experience in C#, .NET Core, and relational databases (MS SQL Server).
- Experience with Vue.js in the front end.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, informal environment.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery practices and tools.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) is a plus.
- Experience with Cloud environments (AWS) and Containerisation (Docker) is a plus.
- Familiarity with open-source projects is a plus.
