PagerDuty is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data team in IT. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and supporting data solutions for PagerDuty's global user base. This role involves collaborating with business domain experts, analytics, and engineering teams to re-design and re-implement the Data Warehouse model(s). Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into data models.
- Design, implement, and build data pipelines.
- Partner with business domain experts, data analysts, and engineering teams to build foundational data sets.
- Champion the overall strategy for data governance, security, privacy, and quality.
- Own and document foundational company metrics.
- Identify, document, and promote best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data integration, pipelines, and data modeling.
- Experience designing and deploying code in Data platforms in a cloud-based and Agile environment.
- Fluent English is required.
- Availability to work 2 days per month in the Santiago office.
