Inspection Operator, 3rd Shift

Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking an Inspection Operator for their Bloomington, Indiana facility. The Inspector Operator will work within the Finishing/Packaging Complex. They will perform visual inspections of product containers, closures, and contents for defects, both manually and semi-automatically, following standard operating procedures. The role requires detail orientation and adherence to guidelines to meet client demand.

• Manually inspect product in black & white booth or semi-automated inspection machine
• Organize and segregate rejects
• Document cGMP activities
• Support manufacturing team to reduce defects
• Assist with inspection of performance qualification/validation materials
• Participate/perform line clearance activities

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience preferred
• Visual acuity 20/20 with or without corrective vision and ability to pass color blind test
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English
