Packaging Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Packaging Operator to work within the Finishing/Packaging Complex. The Packaging Operator will contribute to a team environment focused on productivity and product quality. This role is crucial for meeting client demands and upholding the company's high standards. The Packaging Operator reports to the Finishing Supervisor, playing a key role in ensuring products are accurately labeled, packaged, and documented according to written instructions. The role involves working on a variety of automated and semi-automated packaging lines. Simtra values teamwork and individual contributions to meet and exceed goals.Responsibilities Include:

• Labeling, packaging, and documenting products per written instructions.
• Packaging products in boxes, cartons, syringes, vials, and blisters.
• Counting materials/products to ensure accurate counts.
• Applying labels to various components.
• Replenishing packaging materials to areas/work cells.
• Monitoring and documenting time out of refrigeration (TOR).
• Completing batch record protocol steps at the time of performance.
• Inspecting and verifying materials and products.
• Setting up, tearing down, and clearing work areas.

Requirements Include:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English.
• Visual acuity 20/20 with or without corrective vision and ability to pass color blind test.
