Job Description

CommerceIQ is seeking a Data Scientist II to join their Bangalore team. The company is revolutionizing how brands sell online with its AI-powered digital commerce platform. This role focuses on applying machine learning and algorithms to enhance the retail e-commerce market share growth and profitability for consumer brands.This position involves:

• Understanding business problems and providing data science solutions.
• Conducting proof of concept for data science problems.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to build end-to-end data science solutions.
• Performing exploratory data analysis to support existing and future data science projects.
• Building dashboards to monitor project performance and communicate metrics to the business team.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of data science experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and experience building ML projects end-to-end.
• Understanding of mathematical concepts behind ML models.
• Proficiency in applying statistical techniques for data analysis and business insights.
• Skill in creating data visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Python libraries.
• Knowledge of techniques for evaluating and tuning machine learning models.
• Strong coding skills in Python with the ability to write modular and reusable code.
• Experience using LLMs for data science solutions is a plus.
