ClickUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Docs team in Hungary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable distributed shared services, implementing and maintaining API endpoints, writing efficient SQL queries, and troubleshooting performance issues. This role involves close collaboration with frontend, quality assurance, and product teams. ClickUp is the world’s only all-in-one productivity platform.Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain API endpoints, services, and workers.
- Write efficient SQL queries for reporting data metrics.
- Identify and troubleshoot errors and performance issues.
- Participate in designing systems for maximum performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience writing and maintaining APIs (preferably with Node.js).
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Experience with AWS or another cloud service.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
