ClickUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Integrations team. This role is based in Czechia and focuses on advancing ClickUp's Integrations Platform, which enables engineers to swiftly and securely create new integrations. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in building frameworks and a passion for creating clean abstractions and APIs. They should be eager to tackle complex technical challenges at scale, delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable solutions.
The Senior Backend Engineer will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly scalable APIs, services, and complex features. They will collaborate with product managers and software engineers to define technological vision and strategy.
Responsibilities:- Lead hands-on the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly scalable, high-quality APIs, services, and the most complex features of the Integrations platform.
- Work with product managers and software engineers to define a technological vision & strategy.
- Collaborate with other engineers to deliver high-quality, complex features of the Integrations Platform.
- Identify and troubleshoot significant errors and performance issues.
- Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in developing and maintaining systems.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with relational databases at scale.
- Experience with AWS or other major cloud services.
- Proficient with TypeScript or other popular programming languages.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
