Office Manager (Temp)

Job Description

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Office Manager for a temporary 11-month position within their Dublin office. The candidate will become an integral part of the Employee Experience team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks and acting as a key point of contact for vendors, employees, and visitors. This role demands a hands-on approach and a strong dedication to enhancing workplace culture within HRT.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of office management, including reception duties and managing communications.
• Managing daily mail, including international correspondence.
• Project managing large-scale initiatives (e.g., an office move).
• Maintaining an inventory of office supplies.
• Ordering and managing the office's food and beverage supply.
• Facilitating a welcoming and efficient visitor experience.
• Maintaining an organized and tidy shared office space.
• Upholding compliance with fire and health and safety standards.
• Engaging employees through creative initiatives and events.
• Performing basic IT troubleshooting.
• Fostering a strong community within the Dublin office.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., hospitality or executive assistant).
• Experience working in G-Suite and MacOS
• Prior experience in project management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical skills (automations, messaging platforms, project management apps)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a time-sensitive and dynamic environment
• Ability to move 40 lbs
