Senior Android Engineer, Consumer Safety

Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for its Consumer Safety team. This role is focused on empowering users with tools to manage their experience on Reddit and ensure a safer environment. The engineer will work on building new safety experiences and reporting tools, collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams to execute product and business strategies. • Build new and more powerful safety experiences and reporting tools.
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the full development cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of Android development experience using Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with modern Android development frameworks.
• Strategic thinking and passion for scalable software.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
