Culinary Administrative Support Specialist at CookUnity

CookUnity, a company focused on connecting the world with chefs and delivering fresh, ready-to-eat meals, is seeking a Culinary Support Specialist. This individual will play a key role in supporting chefs and internal teams through administrative and development tasks, with an emphasis on new recipe and chef onboarding. The role requires a candidate with formal culinary training or food and beverage industry experience, ideally with menu forecasting management expertise and a strong understanding of global cuisines and large-scale food production.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to chef inquiries and organize critical information.
• Onboard and train chefs on the CookUnity platform and recipe development systems.
• Provide administrative and reporting support to the Chef Success team.
• Manage the lifecycle of new meals from conception to launch, including recipe edits and nutritional information.
• Calculate and enter scalable portion and recipe yields.
• Evaluate recipe inputs and ensure recipe accuracy.
• Categorize recipes based on cuisine type and dietary preferences.
• Collaborate with the Chef Success team on menu updates.

Requirements:

• English fluency
• Strong data collection, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Culinary or food manufacturing background
• Experience working in the food industry, with knowledge of ingredients and sourcing
• Expertise in data entry, food production software, and GSuite
• Ability to work cross-functionally and independently
