Marketplace Supervisor

Job Description

CookUnity, a company focused on connecting people with chefs and delivering fresh, ready-to-eat meals, is seeking a Marketplace Supervisor in Austin, Texas. This role supports the Culinary or Marketplace Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient execution of operational procedures. The Marketplace Supervisor will handle receiving, inventory, storage, and distribution of products. They will also be responsible for purchasing ingredients and scheduling staff.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a pallet jack to move pallets of product.
• Processes to focus on and implement: Receiving, Inventory Counting, Ordering, Returns, Scheduling
• Ensuring the organization of dry storage, walk-ins, and freezers within the Marketplace.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by leaders.
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working environment.
• Enforcement of food safety standards and FIFO methods to ensure the freshness of food.

Requirements:

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for a minimum of 8 hours without any reasonable accommodations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High proficiency level of Spanish
