CookUnity is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial practices. The Accounting Manager will lead a team of 3-4 accountants overseeing daily accounting operations and reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager based in New York City.Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily accounting operations.
  • Verifying the accuracy of costs and reconciling subledgers to the general ledger.
  • Collaborating with A/P, Treasury, and cross-functional teams.
  • Preparing internal and external financial statements.
  • Assessing and improving accounting operations.
  • Developing and monitoring metrics to evaluate accounting effectiveness.
  • Leading and building a strong, growing accounting team.
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Snowflake, Tableau
  • Experience in fast paced direct-to-consumer and inventory environments preferred.
