Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Culinary Operations Manager to provide operational oversight and strong leadership to a growing team in their Seattle kitchen. The manager will be responsible for optimizing kitchen operations, ensuring recipe consistency, and maintaining food safety and quality control. They will also manage packaging training and cleaning duties, with a focus on the successful execution of allergy meals.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver strategic operational leadership across all aspects of Kitchen operations.
  • Ensure access to, and maintain inventory of smallwares for food production
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a team of associates and supervisors.
  • Provide a hospitable experience for chefs.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly financial reportingCollaborate with Chef's onboarding and implementation of new menu items.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Restaurant / Food Manufacturing / High Volume Commercial Kitchen.
  • Conversational Spanish is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations and a Food Handlers License are required.
  • Proficiency with Google apps (Gmail, drive, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Experience working with and sourcing ingredients.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
