Business Analyst/Trading and Risk at Capco

Capco Poland is seeking a Business Analyst to contribute to Market Risk initiatives within Financial Markets Technology investment programs. The role involves managing system upgrades and migrations, implementing risk data and controls, designing front-end UX, and developing reports and risk analytics. The Business Analyst will coordinate with FM Technology Change counterparts to deliver a platform across Market Risk.

In this role, the Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting user requirements, creating documentation, driving initiatives, conducting testing, providing training, and offering user support for various Market Risk-focused projects. They will serve as an interface between stakeholders, ensuring requirements are translated into tangible technology deliveries.

What this role involves:

• Driving Market Risk initiatives within Financial Markets Technology investment programmes.
• Managing system upgrades and migrations.
• Implementing risk data and controls.
• Designing front-end UX.
• Developing reports and risk analytics.
• Coordinating with FM Technology Change counterparts.
• Eliciting user requirements and creating documentation.
• Driving initiatives, conducting testing, and providing user support.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of the key components of the Standardized Measure for Market risk under FRTB.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data modelling to build solution prototypes on large datasets.
• Ability to manage cross-workstream requirements and escalate dependencies.
• Knowledge in all major asset classes to coordinate across ongoing initiatives.
• Experience writing requirements as user stories with clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Experience in functional testing of delivered functionality.
• Business Analysis experience (e.g. gathering user requirements, data analysis).
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
• Familiarity and demonstrates confidence working in an agile development environment
