Capco Poland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Big Data Administrator/Engineer to join their team in Warsaw. Capco Poland specializes in driving digital transformation across the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration and expertise in automation tools. The Big Data Administrator/Engineer will be responsible for performing critical Big Data administration, troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring the seamless operation of various data processing frameworks.

Role involves:

  • Administering and managing Hadoop clusters.
  • Developing and automating scripts using Ansible, Shell, or Python.
  • Managing automated deployment processes.
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to Big Data platforms.
  • Supporting data pipelines and performance optimizations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data administration, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Kafka, HBase, and Spark.
  • Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Shell scripting, and Python scripting.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps concepts and practices, including CI/CD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
