Capco is seeking a Microsoft Data Engineer to join its expanding team in Bratislava, Slovakia. The successful candidate will collaborate with major banks on transformative projects, modernizing processes and implementing cutting-edge data management solutions using Microsoft products.

The Data Engineer will work within an agile team, contributing to the evolution of the financial services sector. The role will involve increasing responsibility, with opportunities to lead sub-projects and smaller teams.

Role involves:

  • Working in an agile team focused on transformation challenges.
  • Modernizing processes and setting up state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Developing and optimizing data management from business analysis to implementation.
  • Progressively taking on more responsibility and leading projects.

Requirements:

  • A completed university degree.
  • Fluent English (German is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
  • Background in Big Data and enterprise-scale data platforms.
  • Consulting or banking background.
