BigID is seeking a Staff Client Support Engineer to provide high-quality support to its enterprise customers. The successful candidate will act as an advocate for customers, collaborating with the Development team to resolve issues.

Role Involves:

  • Troubleshooting advanced technical issues for client stakeholders.
  • Evaluating implementation results and deploying solution components.
  • Engaging with multi-discipline internal and client teams for successful resolutions.
  • Transferring knowledge to the internal Support organization and customers.
  • Prioritizing and resolving product issues with Engineering and Product Management teams.
  • Resolving complex problems through product understanding and code analysis.
  • Identifying and prioritizing technical improvements.
  • Influencing adjacent teams' designs for better system design decisions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in a customer-facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with Linux-based OS installation, configuration, and management.
  • Basic experience with RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Coding experience with Python, C++, C#, and Java (major advantage).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software modules and context switch between tasks.
