Job Description
BigID, an innovative tech startup specializing in data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management, is seeking a Staff Client Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to enterprise customers and collaborate with the Development team to resolve issues.Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to troubleshoot advanced technical issues.
  • Evaluate implementation results and deploy solution components.
  • Engage with multi-discipline internal and client teams to ensure successful resolutions.
  • Transfer knowledge within the internal Support organization and to customers.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams to prioritize and resolve product issues.
  • Resolve complex problems through a deep understanding of the product and code analysis.
  • Identify and prioritize technical improvements based on data and experience.
  • Influence adjacent teams' designs to promote better holistic system design decisions.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in a customer-facing role.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with Linux-based Operating Systems.
  • Basic experience with RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, IBM DB2, etc.
  • Hands on experience in Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience in writing code projects with Python, C++, C# and Java.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software modules.
  • Ability to context switch and move effectively between different tasks or competing priorities.
