Truecaller is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join its Security team in Stockholm, Sweden. This role is crucial for safeguarding Truecaller's core cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex infrastructure security problems through innovative engineering solutions. They will leverage their deep understanding of cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, networking, and container security to design, implement, and manage robust security measures, ensuring the resilience and integrity of Truecaller's platform.

Role Involves:
  • Designing and securing GCP infrastructure.
  • Securing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows.
  • Managing GCP security posture using native tools.
  • Leading infrastructure vulnerability management.
  • Implementing network security controls.
  • Enhancing container and Kubernetes security.
  • Automating security operations.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure and development teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in a senior engineering role focused on infrastructure security.
  • Proven, in-depth knowledge and practical experience securing cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong experience writing and securing IaC deployments.
  • Solid understanding and practical application of cloud network security principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in securing Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go for security automation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical security concepts.
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure development workflows.
