GOAT Group is seeking a motivated Senior Account Manager to join its Business Development team in Los Angeles. The Business Development team is central to the strategic growth of GOAT Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong sneaker knowledge and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service to key sellers on the platform.

The Senior Account Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing relationships with key accounts, driving business growth, and ensuring seamless integration of new accounts. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a trusted partner for accounts.
  • Maintain and optimize relationships through business management, outreach, strategic planning and championing business changes.
  • Proactively identify and share account trends, seller feedback or competitor activity with internal teams to support strategy development and/or process improvement.
  • Present KPI performance decks and insights to strategic accounts on a monthly basis, identifying key opportunities.
  • Streamline new account onboarding process for new accounts; initiate and supervise the operational setup, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support execution of seller / account initiatives and team projects.
  • Provide dedicated customer support for accounts, promptly resolving any issues
  • Identify themes and opportunity areas for our sellers, proposing action plans where necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams in ensuring product is listed for sale in a timely manner
  • Drive business by prospecting existing connections and proactively sourcing new accounts

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in an account management function, with strong sneaker knowledge
  • Strong sales and analytical ability
  • Confidence in manipulating and reporting on data
  • Experience building a book of business
  • Confidentiality and discretion is a MUST
  • High level interpersonal, communication, and written skills
  • Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
  • A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness (and ability) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
  • Mac and Excel proficient, with an understanding of web-based platforms
