Job Description

Twilio is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their SEGMENT Professional Services team. This remote role, based in Brazil, will focus on helping customers derive value from their investment in the Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP). The Solutions Architect will lead technical onboarding with clients, guiding them through Segment CDP deployment and use case implementation.

The Solutions Architect will serve as the technical subject matter expert, providing deep product and industry knowledge to clients. They will work within Segment’s Global Professional Services team to ensure quick time-to-value and increase client adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Help customers instrument Segment APIs across their stack.
  • Complete on-boarding engagements within budget and scope.
  • Design a data structure that will gracefully flow downstream.
  • Guide customers on syncing event and profile data to cloud data warehouses.
  • Develop and iterate on internal processes.
  • Work closely with the product team.
  • Become a guide on the code base and functionality of the Segment platform.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering technical engagements as projects in a consultation environment.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of customers.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Love for explaining technical concepts.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and experience with data architecture.
  • Experience with cloud and data warehouse technologies.
  • Solid client-side Javascript skills and experience working with APIs and server-side language.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
