Director of Corporate Tax Reporting

Job Description

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Director of Corporate Tax Reporting to join their Global Tax Team. This role is based in Greenwich, CT, and operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The Director will be responsible for the consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual U.S. tax provision under ASC 740. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.Interactive Brokers Global Tax Team plays an important role in the success of the business. They partner with many functions across the company, including Accounting, Treasury, Technology, Customer Service and Marketing, to assist our business for achieving our commitment of delivering value through technological innovationResponsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions globally.
• Calculate and analyze effective tax rates.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing estimated tax payments.
• Document book/tax adjustments and deferred tax asset/liability calculations.
• Work with the Accounting team on tax footnotes and disclosures.
• Prepare modeling for tax planning strategies.
• Identify opportunities for tax optimization and process efficiency.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with tax professionals and assist with tax technology integration.
• Support internal audits and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting (ASC 740).
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience with tax provision and compliance software (e.g., OneSource).
• Strong technical knowledge of US and international tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
