Semgrep is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to sell its AppSec Platform in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be an ambassador for customers and drive business growth. This role involves scaling a sales organization and bringing a developer-centric security product to market. The Account Executive will cover the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and work with large enterprise customers across various industries.
What this role involves: - Covering the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
- Working with large Enterprise customers in a variety of industries.
- Owning customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close.
- Onboarding and growing accounts with additional products or increased Semgrep usage.
- Managing inbound leads with a lightning-fast follow-up and diligently qualifying opportunities.
- Achieving and exceeding goals consisting of outbound phone calls, emails, product demos, and trials.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting and executing a territory plan.
- Working closely with Customer Success and Product Management to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth.
Requirements for this role: - Fluency in both English and German.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and product demo skills.
- Curiosity to probe deep for customer pain-points and issues related to code security.
- Tenacity to build pipeline, advance deals, and align resources.
- Resilience to take early morning or late evening customer calls and travel for customer onsite meetings.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in high-pace environments with consistent quota achievement.
- Experience closing multiple 6 or 7-figure deals a year within large Enterprise organizations.
- Excellent customer orientation and record-breaking SLAs in responding to customer needs.
- Expertise in working asynchronously using Slack, Google Suite, email, video conferencing, etc.
- Technical aptitude to become fluent in Semgrep and the DevSecOps industry.
