Job Description

PhonePe Group is seeking a Senior Manager – Accounts Payable to oversee Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and lead accrual and cost management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting standards, accrual management, cost analysis, and AP-related reporting.

The role requires effective team management, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement initiatives to ensure seamless accounts payable operations. This role is based in Bengaluru.

Role Involves:

  • Overseeing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
  • Managing vendor reconciliations and advance payments.
  • Performing indirect cost analysis and reporting.
  • Overseeing AP-related financial reporting.
  • Leading internal and external audits related to Accounts Payable.
  • Managing and optimizing Accounts Payable processes within Fusion ERP.
  • Leading and mentoring a team.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) qualification with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and AP-related financial reporting.
  • Knowledge in P2P process management.
  • Experience in cost analysis and accrual management.
  • Exposure to AP-related audits.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Fusion ERP preferred).
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
