Job Description
Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Paid Search Strategist to lead the creation, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns for a major international brand. The ideal candidate will act as the strategic SEM lead and advisor, providing leadership and expertise in account structure, budget management, and performance optimization.
The Senior Paid Search Strategist will collaborate across teams, present data-driven insights, and deliver actionable performance reporting to clients. They will define SEM goals, maintain client satisfaction, and educate internal and external teams on the SEM landscape.
Role involves:
- Leading the development, implementation, and optimization of SEM strategy.
- Translating business goals to SEM platform activation strategies.
- Executing and managing day-to-day campaign performance.
- Communicating paid search best practices and strategies.
- Creating and sharing search POVs and case studies.
- Crafting compelling ad copy and guiding CRO strategies.
- Delivering actionable insights through reports.
- Identifying market trends and running iterative testing strategies.
- Conducting SEM audits and competitive analyses.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven success in optimizing SEM campaigns.
- High proficiency in SEM tools (e.g., Google/Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics).
- Ability to react quickly and implement solutions.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Google Demand Gen, Performance Max.
- Passion for testing and learning.
