Point72 is seeking a Platform Software Engineer Intern to join their Market Intelligence team in Warsaw. This role involves collaborating with researchers and data scientists to create data pipelines and tools for extracting value from Point72's data assets. The intern will gain exposure to big data processing, AWS cloud infrastructure, and new technological developments.
Role involves:
- Developing big data processing pipelines
- Building out our AWS cloud-based infrastructure
- Being at the forefront of new technological developments
- Building and supporting web applications
Requirements:
- Experience with Python, SQL
- Basic knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- Familiarity with GIT for software version control
- Fundamentals of Bash scripting and Unix system usage
- Interests in infrastructure and development automation
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
