Remote is seeking a Manager of Payroll Operations to join their Global Payroll Operations team. This role involves in planning and implementing the Payroll chapter within Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the payroll team.
- Own the complete payroll function, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
- Serve as a point of contact between internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead, unblock, and support the payroll team.
- Stay updated with international payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with payroll, accounting, and service providers.
- Develop and implement best practices, KPIs, and SLA metrics.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in regional/global payroll operations.
- Understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing third-party payroll services.
- Passion for managing and mentoring people.
- Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
