Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Operations Specialist to ensure the efficient operation of their laboratory facilities. This role is based in Brisbane, California.
Responsibilities:

- Managing laboratory inventory, including supplies and reagents.
- Performing routine maintenance on lab equipment like water baths and incubators.
- Managing waste streams and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with lab management to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of lab spaces.
- Receiving packages daily and updating receipts in purchasing system
- Assisting with shipping orders out as needed
- Associate's degree with 3+ experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field with 1+ year of experience.
- Prior experience in laboratory operations, biotechnology or life sciences preferred.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting lab equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of California State and Federal safety regulations.
