Weber Shandwick is seeking a Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning to be the point person for "Corpsumer" work within TWSC Central market. The ideal candidate will architect powerful business-driving communications strategies in partnership with region and NA leadership. This person immerses themselves in a category, understands what drives consumers, and finds unexpected insights to drive communications forward.

In this role, the SVP will be involved in all elements of brand strategy, including creating and analyzing data and market trends, shaping market research, and developing impactful insights and strategies to solve brand challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads businesses with strategic positioning for corporate and consumer stakeholders
  • Guides client and internal integration teams
  • Leads earned strategies with internal and client-facing stakeholders
  • Acquires a professional presence and demonstrates strong presentation skills
  • Proactively identifies potential challenges and recommends improvements
  • Initiates and executes strategic processes
  • Co-leads client projects/assignments
  • Mines data, research, and intelligence reports for insights
  • Develops an understanding of market dynamics, customer mindset, competitive actions, and industry trends
  • Derives and articulates insights that drive behavior change
  • Cultivates relationships with staff, internal partners, and clients

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Corporate and Consumer strategies
  • Understanding of cultural brand strategy with familiarity of work within PR, digital and social media
  • Expertise in the marketing and communications industry
  • Comfort with research techniques and insight generation
  • Experience with analytics and data analysis
  • Clear and compelling presentation skills
  • Agility in working style
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
