Job Description

Tide is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join their Identity team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing Identity across Tide, from integrating new applications with Okta to creating Just-in-Time access rules for existing applications. They will collaborate with business and technology teams to define and implement least-privilege, modern access controls and patterns, and ensure Tide's Identity estate adheres to best practices.

The Staff Security Engineer will work in Tide.

The role involves:

  • Championing Identity across Tide.
  • Collaborating with business and technology teams.
  • Ensuring our Identity estate adheres to best practices.
  • Automating manual, inefficient processes

The requirements are:

  • Strong expertise with modern Identity Providers such as Okta.
  • Deep understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML and OIDC.
  • Strong hands-on experience writing Terraform.
  • Experience in scripting and automation.
  • A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with your team.
  • Hands-on attitude and the ability to drive solutions to completion.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
