Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description

• Manage accuracy and compliance of ingredient and packaging receiving practices.
• Review site layouts to optimize storage and handling.
• Focus on the “Distribution Model” deployment across all categories.
• Develop and ensure compliance with processes for checking incoming shipments.
• Train and develop team members.
• Focus on continuous improvement across core functions.
• Create and establish a food safety movement.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Aid in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain excellent relationships with chef partners.
• Understand Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, variance reports, and KPI metrics.
• Oversee scheduling for the Marketplace team.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• Experience in food procurement and extensive food knowledge.
• Experience in inventory management.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
• Ability to promote professional growth and development.
• Ability to communicate and understand Spanish is preferred.
• Full Spanish/English proficiency.
• Ability to travel 5-10% as needed.
