Job Description
Symmetry Software, a part of Gusto, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify prospective clients. The SDR will be the first point of contact for many new clients, spending much of their day on the phone calling Payroll Service Providers and Employers. This role involves collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to pursue new business opportunities.

Role Involves:
  • Managing a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Employing a consultative sales methodology.
  • Assessing the quality of prospects.
  • Setting up product demonstration appointments.
  • Achieving monthly metrics and targets.
  • Collaborating with the team to improve processes.
  • Tracking activities in CRM.
  • Networking within the payroll and HCM industry.
  • Increasing knowledge about payroll and Symmetry products.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years in similar sales or development role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships.
  • Strong history of prospecting.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Outstanding listening skills.
  • Comfortable meeting quotas and handling rejections.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Content and social media savvy.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
