Sustainability Intern

Job Description

Alo, a company focused on mindful movement, is seeking a Sustainability Intern to support its sustainability strategy. This role involves assisting with sustainability reporting and data collection, monitoring ESG legislation, and collaborating on various initiatives. The intern will work within the Legal team, reporting to the Sustainability Manager, and will collaborate with various departments. The program lasts for 8 weeks, starting June 9th and ending August 1st, at the Beverly Hills & Commerce HQs.

• Staying up-to-date with sustainability regulations and industry standards
• Conducting research on sustainable fashion trends
• Assisting in data collection and analysis across the supply chain
• Preparing the annual sustainability report
• Coordinating and tracking updates on goals and project plans
• Supporting internal sustainability communications
• Assisting with ad hoc legal projects

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Sustainability, Law, Business, Supply Chain, Apparel & Fashion, or a related field
• Interest in Sustainability/Corporate Responsibility, ESG, Apparel & Fashion, Business and/or Supply Chain Management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work flexibly
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to handle confidential materials
• Natural self-starter and problem solver
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
