Twilio is seeking a Staff Security Enablement Analyst to enhance security enablement across the organization. This role involves fostering a security-first culture by engaging, training, and empowering Twilio employees to act as security practitioners. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, possess a developer-first mentality, and be passionate about developing and growing others in security practices.
About the Role:
- Designing and implementing the Security Champions Program, including establishing OKRs and defining roles.
- Creating a framework for identifying, recruiting, and retaining Security Champions.
- Organizing regular meetings and events to foster collaboration among Security Champions.
- Developing and maintaining program documentation and best practices.
- Curating and delivering live training material to meet specific educational needs.
- Acting as a liaison between Twilions and security teams.
- Collaborating with Learning and Development teams to integrate security training.
- Identifying opportunities to expand security offers across Twilio.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, software development, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience coordinating or contributing to a Security Champions program.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
