Zuora IT Enterprise Applications Engineer

GitLab is seeking a Zuora IT Enterprise Applications Engineer to operationally own finance and accounting software applications. This role supports core business processes like Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report workflows. The engineer will work at the intersection of technology and business strategy, enhancing billing, subscription management, and revenue recognition efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end Quote-to-Cash workflows in Zuora.
• Develop, test, and maintain Zuora subscription billing and Zuora Revenue solutions.
• Integrate Zuora with systems like NetSuite, Stripe, and Avalara.
• Manage subscription product catalogs and create customizations within Zuora.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Zuora integrations.
• Train users and document processes.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora CPQ/Billing Products.
• Strong understanding of the Zuora platform, APIs, and Zuora 360.
• Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Flows, and Approval Processes.
• Experience implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions.
• Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
• Experience with ASC606, IFRS15, and SOX Compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Hands-on Zuora development experience, specifically with Zuora CPQ and Billing modules
• Willingness to be on-call for critical billing cycles and system issues.
• Experience with Zuora Billing Administration, including product catalog management and rate plan configuration
