Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead in Belgium to join their Global Payroll Operations Team. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for Belgium, managing relationships with stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
The role involves:
- Processing full end-to-end payroll in-house.
- Ensuring compliance.
- Focusing on KPIs and SLAs.
- Implementing and improving processes.
- Mentoring and supporting payroll specialists.
- Backing up regional managers during absences.
Requirements include:
- Payroll management or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
