Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join their Global Payroll Operations Team. This role is based in Portugal and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the global employment space. The Payroll Specialist Lead will act as a subject matter expert for Portugal payroll, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure data integrity.

- Managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Processing full end-to-end payroll.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements.
- Focusing on KPIs and SLAs.
- Implementing and improving processes.
- Mentoring and supporting payroll specialists.
Requirements:
- Payroll management or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of payroll best practices.
- Proficiency in software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
- Fluent English.
