Who Gives A Crap is seeking a Financial Operations Director to lead its financial and statutory reporting and control environment. The Financial Operations Director will lead and develop the Financial Operations team, designing and ensuring the effectiveness of the company's financial accounting and financial controls environment, including financial and statutory reporting, treasury management, and compliance with laws and regulations across multiple regions.

Role involves:
  • Improving financial processes and systems like NetSuite.
  • Collaborating with Senior Accountants.
  • Documenting and driving meaningful improvements in financial accounting.
  • Taking charge of the month-end close.
  • Overseeing cash flow management.
  • Steering treasury strategy and hedging.
  • Mentoring the team to boost performance.
  • Ensuring functional and technical training for the Financial Operations team.
  • Working closely with teams across the business to align financial goals with Who Gives A Crap’s mission.

Requirements:
  • Experienced financial leader with a strong background in managing Financial Accounting/Operations teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems (preferably NetSuite).
  • Strategic vision, planning for the next 2-3 years.
  • CA/CPA certification.
  • Passionate about fostering an inclusive culture.
